When the swell in this beach is at its best, a fifteen foot rock forms a great waves that challenges a lot of surfers. This is also one of the main reasons for the rescues. Bells Beach
Bells Beach is located at Torquay, Victoria. This is the home of surfing in Australia spiritually and historically. This site still holds the oldest and most prestigious surfing event in the whole world. This event is now called the Rip Curl Pro. The winner of this event gets the traditional clanging bell trophy. There are high waves in this area especially during the swells. These waves can reach fifteen feet and above. The seabed in this area is not sandy, which means the waves in this area are constant.
Boomerang Beach
The Boomerang Beach is located at the Pacific Palms, New South Wales. In the Forster-Tuncurry coast by the mid-north NSW, this is the favorite beach. The waters in this place is perfect for surfers and swimmers. They are often visited by dolphins in this area. The dolphins in this area is one of the reasons why this beach garners a lot of tourists.
Kirra Beach
Kirra Beach is located in Coolangatta, Queensland. This beach has a very famous point break. This is also the favorite surf spot of Kelly Slater, the world surfing champion. However, not only Kelly Slater considers this place his favorite, a lot of surfers out there stands to the testimony that this beach is trully wonderful.
Byron Bay
Byron Bay is located in northern New South Wales. Some of the best waves for surfing can be found along Byron Bay like Belongil, Main Beach and Tallows. This place is a free spirited place where everyone is free to do whatever they love to do in the beach.
